EN20344 standard:

Personal protection. Footwear testing methods.

The standard specifies methods for testing footwear intended for personal protection. It also specifies requirements for the entire footwear, upper, lining, tongue, insole and outsole.

EN20347 standard:

Personal protection. Professional footwear.

The standard, in relation to the EN20344 standard, specifies basic and additional requirements for professional footwear for use at work, marked with the symbol “O”. This footwear differs from safety footwear in that it is not equipped with safety toe caps that protect against impacts and compression.
